FAQ | Knockerball St. Louis

Question 1

What exactly is Knockerball?

Accepted Answer

Knockerball is a giant inflatable bubble that you strap into — your upper body and head are fully enclosed in a clear zorb-style ball while your legs remain free to run. You then play soccer, sumo battles, or other games while bumping into opponents. It's safe, hilarious, and completely addictive.

Question 2

Who can participate? Is there an age or size limit?

Accepted Answer

Most of our activities are suitable for ages 7 and up. Participants should be at least 4'0" tall and under 250 lbs to safely fit in the bubbles. Younger children can enjoy bounce houses, foam parties, and Gaga Ball. We'll always recommend the right activities for your group's age range.

Question 3

How far do you travel for events?

Accepted Answer

We serve the entire St. Louis metro area including St. Charles, O'Fallon, Chesterfield, Ballwin, Kirkwood, Webster Groves, Florissant, and surrounding communities. For events beyond 30 miles from St. Louis, a travel fee may apply — just ask when you request a quote.

Question 4

How far in advance should I book?

Accepted Answer

We recommend booking at least 2–3 weeks in advance, especially for weekend dates in spring and summer. That said, we do our best to accommodate last-minute requests — reach out and we'll let you know what's available.

Question 5

How much space do you need?

Accepted Answer

Space requirements vary by activity. Knockerball Bubble Soccer needs roughly 40' x 60' of flat, open space (a standard soccer field section or large backyard). Foam parties work in smaller areas. We'll confirm exact requirements when you book and help you assess your venue.

Question 6

Can events be held indoors?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Many of our activities work great indoors — gyms, warehouses, event halls, and large community spaces are all fair game. Foam parties are best outdoors or in spaces with good drainage. We'll advise on the best setup for your venue.

Question 7

How long does setup and breakdown take?

Accepted Answer

Setup typically takes 30–60 minutes depending on the number of activities. Breakdown takes about the same. We arrive early so everything is ready when your event starts, and we handle all cleanup when it's over — you don't lift a finger.

Question 8

Do you need power or water access?

Accepted Answer

Our blowers require standard 110V electrical outlets (we bring extension cords). Foam parties require a water source. If your venue doesn't have accessible power, we can bring a generator for an additional fee. Just let us know when booking.

Question 9

Is Knockerball safe?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. The bubbles are designed to absorb impact and protect players during collisions. Our staff enforces safety rules, monitors play, and ensures all participants are properly fitted before play begins. Injuries are extremely rare when guidelines are followed.

Question 10

Are you insured?

Accepted Answer

Yes — we carry full general liability insurance for all events. We can provide a certificate of insurance (COI) for venues that require one. Just let us know when booking and we'll have it ready.

Question 11

Do you provide staff at the event?

Accepted Answer

Yes, every booking includes at least one trained Knockerball crew member who stays for the entire event. They run games, enforce safety rules, manage equipment, and make sure everyone has a great time. Larger events may include additional staff.

Question 12

What happens if there's bad weather?

Accepted Answer

Safety is our top priority. We monitor forecasts closely and will contact you if severe weather is expected. Light rain is usually fine for most activities. In the case of lightning, high winds, or dangerous conditions, we'll work with you to reschedule at no penalty.

Question 13

How much does it cost?

Accepted Answer

Pricing depends on the activities, duration, and group size. Our Starter packages begin around $299 for 2 hours with up to 20 guests. The Ultimate Event package starts at $599 for 3 hours. Corporate and large group events are custom quoted. Request a free quote and we'll give you exact pricing for your event.

Question 14

Is a deposit required to book?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we require a deposit to hold your date. The deposit amount varies by package size. The remaining balance is due on the day of the event. We accept all major credit cards, Venmo, and cash.

Question 15

What is your cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

Cancellations made 7 or more days before the event receive a full deposit refund. Cancellations within 7 days may forfeit the deposit, but we'll always try to work with you — especially for weather-related issues. Rescheduling is always free.

Question 16

Can I mix and match activities?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely — that's one of our favorite things to do. You can combine any of our 9 attractions into a custom package. Tell us your group size, duration, and budget and we'll build the perfect lineup for your event.
